FingerTech now carries the popular "Catalyst MK1" designed by Cronos Labs!
- This lightweight device includes an AFHDS2 receiver with two bi-directional brushless drive ESCs.
- Ideal for 3lb Beetleweights / UK 1.5kg Beetleweights!

Features:
• Combines three large electronic components into a single lightweight package
• Two additional channel outputs for servos or brushless ESCs
• Selectable "Inverted Driving" mode for when your robot is upside down
• Servo stretcher - for increased servo range; can be turned off
• Standard onboard Mixing of L & R channels with expo curve for smooth control; can be disabled or changed to left stick
• Motor is braked to stop rather than coasting. This gives precise motor control, crucial for robot drive!
• Failsafe is set properly for combat robots: Motor outputs all shut off if the receiver loses signal from transmitter.
Wiring Diagram
*Includes 0.01uF capacitor. Solder it between the motor's leads to filter motor noise and voltage spikes. (Not required for FingerTech Spark motors - they are high quality and do not generate dangerous voltage spikes.)
Specifications:
- Battery Voltage: 6-22V (2-4S lipoly standard. Up to 6S with spike absorbing TVS diodes and included capacitor)
- Motor Current per channel (x2 channels): 45A max
- Two additional channels (Ch3&4) of PWM output for servos or external ESCs (eg. brushless weapon ESC or lifter servo)
- BEC: None
- Radio Protocol: AFHDS2 (compatible with FS-i4X transmitter - remember to set it to "AFHDS2" mode; ours ship on "AFHDS")(not compatible with T6A or T8S radios)
- Firmware: AM32 ESC (preconfigured, user-configurable)
- Circuit board size: 29x19x5mm (1.14x0.75x0.2inch)
- Weight (no wires): 4grams (0.14oz)
The Catalyst MK1 is perfectly matched to our own line of Mega Spark motors!
Entering Bind Mode:
The receiver bind-mode is indicated by a flashing Blue LED.
- If the unit is unbound (new, factory setting), it will enter bind-mode automatically on power on.
- If the unit is already bound to another transmitter, it will enter bind mode 120 seconds after power on, only if no signal is received from the bound transmitter.
You can now follow the binding instructions for your specific type of transmitter. When bound, the Blue LED will stop flashing.
Already paired, but no transmitter connected
| After 120s, ready to re-bind

Configurable Options:
• Enter config mode by powering on the Catalyst >5 seconds before turning on the radio, then sending Hi-Low pulses on Channel 5. Red LED will flash rapidly.
• Reverse left, right, or weapon motor direction
• Disable mixing
• Disable braking
• Swap Weapon channels
• Enable servo-stretching
• Enable doubled steering speed
