The simple Flysky "T6A" 2.4GHz Transmitter is an excellent radio for robotics. Six channels lets you control all sorts of add-ons!
There is a knob and switch for both Channels 5 and 6. This allows you to set a motor speed or servo position, then switch it on to that preset position.

• AFHDS frequency hopping protocol. No crystals to buy, and no need to worry about other radios interfering with your robot.
• One stick has spring return on both axes, the other has a ratchet for the up/down axis.

The simple Flysky "T6A" 6-Channel 2.4GHz Transmitter has a knob and switch for both Channels 5 and 6. This allows you to set a motor speed or servo position, then switch it on to that preset position.
The right stick has spring return on both axes, the left stick has a ratchet for the up/down axis. If you prefer both axes to be spring-return, we have developed a custom Spring-Return Kit for these transmitters.

This radio is legal for all SPARC Robot Combat events! Upon loss of transmitter signal, the receiver outputs all hold in "off" state. Most new motor controllers (like our tinyESCs) interpret this as motor-off and therefore pass the failsafe requirements. Servos will hold their last position, so make sure that does not pose a hazard in some way.

This transmitter has three programmable mixes, endpoint adjustment, subtrims, servo reverse, dual rates, and throttle curves!

- Comes with Mixing programmed on Channel 1 & 2 for single-stick robot drive applications. Left knob and switch control Channel 6. - Includes a PC Cable for reprogramming channel variables and mixing.

I have been using the same transmitter (and receiver) I purchased with my first viper kit five years ago and have had no problems so far. Without a doubt one of the best transmitters you can get.

I find that it was easy to program.
The switch for 5 ch broke the first day, just flipped it and it came apart.
No problem- radio shack.
It does what I wanted out of a 6 ch.
The price is right- thinking on getting a spare.

Don't like 2-stick "tank" steering? Need a stick free for weapon control? Using a gyro for drive stabilization?

The tinyMixer combines the "left/right" (Aileron) and "up/down" (Elevator) channels of a single stick into two individual drive channels. This allows you to maneuver the robot with just one thumb, leaving the other open for weapon control.

New Invert function! If your robot gets flipped upside down but is still drivable, you can invert the controls and drive it as if it were still right-side-up. Alternatively, you can invert while right-side-up and make the back of the robot into the front. This can be useful if your robot has both a weapon and a wedge and you want to attack with the other.
