Use Twist Hubs to easily and securely mount our FingerTech Foam Wheels. Foam wheels are the preferred choice for combat robots because they absorb impacts and save your drive motor gearboxes.

• Use Twist Hubs to mount our FingerTech Foam Wheels, or if you already have hobby store Lite Flites (or their thinner counterpart Lectra Lites) they can be used with Twist Hubs too!

• The foam tire is held tightly by a custom locking washer, which must be pressed in and turned 90 degrees to release.

• The hub is secured to the motor shaft by a strong 8-32 setscrew.

• Available with 3mm, 4mm, and 6mm shaft bore, but can be drilled out as big as 6.35mm (0.25in).

• Make sure to choose the correct Thin/Wide size to match your wheels.

- Upgraded lengthwise fins ensure the tire cannot spin on the hub even if the tire isn't compressed by the washer. (4mm x 0.5in are still round until the current batch sells out.)
- Available in two widths; 0.50in (thin) and 0.75in (wide), and in three bore sizes; 3mm, 4mm, and now also 6mm to fit our Brushless Mega Spark gearmotors.



Specifications:
- Anodized 6061 aluminum for high strength and low weight.
- The foam tire is held tightly by a custom locking washer, which must be pressed in and turned 90 degrees to release.
- The hex flange will allow you to keep driving even if the locking washer is destroyed.
- The hub is secured to the motor shaft by a strong 8-32 setscrew.
- Available with 3mm, 4mm, and 6mm shaft bore, but can be drilled out as big as 6.35mm (0.25in).
- Weight: Thin size (0.50in wide) weighs 5.6g each. Wide size (0.75in wide) weighs 7.1g each.

Very durable

My kid's bot had the entire axle of the drive motor get torn off and the hub and tire was still attached to the broken axle. After the fight, the hub had a big scratch but was still perfectly using for the next fight.

These hubs take massive hits. I've used them for two competitions now, and at Moto 2020 they took hits from a horizontal spinner, and stayed on after getting bent in half. It was actually difficult to get them off after they got hit. The wheels never budged. Great product! Thank you!
