Love the simplicity of AM32!

I used this 40A ESC on my newest beetleweight (3lb) robot, Fever Dream, for its weapon motor using the 1100kV JCR RDY-MINI-4022-V2 Hubmotor with a 0.2" JCR Promo blade. I updated the settings on this ESC using a USB AM32 programmer (super easy) with the kV rating on my motor and it worked like a charm! I also experimented and found that you can re-program this ESC to be reversible in a pinch.

Anecdotally, the spin-up felt faster and more reliable than the equivalent BLHeli32 version that I run on my other 3lb bot. Your mileage may vary depending on your ESC's configuration. I spent a good amount of time playing with the AM32 settings on this ESC to try to optimize and that worked out very well.
F4006-740KV Brushless Outrunner

• Are you looking for a motor that can handle absurdly large blades without breaking a sweat? Introducing our new F4006 740KV Brushless Outrunner!

• This is our most powerful motor yet! It can run on 2-4S batteries, and draw up to 40A.

• Don't let its shockingly low profile of only 20mm fool you, this motor can dish out a serious beating with a thick 4mm shaft.

• Easily drive this motor with our new 40A AM32 brushless esc.

FingerTech S2838 Brushless Inrunner 2970KV

• This Brushless Inrunner is what we use in the Beater Bar Electronics. Its size and power make it ideal for beetleweight robot weapons (and aggressively ambitious for antweight weapons!)

• With an inrunner, you don't have to worry about wires getting caught by a spinning outer can.

5V 4A Switching UBEC Regulator

• Does your receiver have telemetry, requiring more power than small ESCs provide?
• Are you running brushless drive whose ESCs have no 5V return line to the receiver?
• This voltage regulator will supply 5V at up to 4A from any battery 6-23V (2S-6S lipoly).
