FingerTech tinyESC w/ BEC
FingerTech tinyESC w/ BEC

These are the smallest and lightest motor controllers currently manufactured for RC hobby robotics. They take up very little space but can handle more than enough current for small robots.

"w/ BEC" indicates an included Battery Eliminator Circuit. If there is no 5V supply present on the robot, use one of these to power the radio receiver from the main battery.

Battery Voltage: 7V - 36V
Battery Eliminator Output Voltage: 5V
Battery Eliminator Output Current: 100mA (can run other electronics like a receiver and other esc's, but not motors or servos)

Continuous Current: 2.0A continuous
Max Current: 2.8A peak

Circuit board size: 1.27x1.27x0.58cm (0.5x0.5x0.23”)
Outer heatshrink size: 1.35x1.91x0.64cm (0.53x0.75x0.25”)
Weight with wires: 4grams (0.14oz)

Ultra-compact and lightweight.
Undervoltage, overcurrent/temp protection.
Internal BEC provides 5V to receiver. Use this ESC if you do not have another speed controller or voltage regulator providing 5V power to your receiver.

Currently out of stock.  Expected late-August.

FingerTech tinyESC w/ BEC5 Great lightweight ESC

Seth Carr - 31st July 2009

I have used these on my past 3 antweight robots. In all of them, I was VERY tight on space. These tucked away into little nooks that no other ESC would have fit. I even used motors from a beetle weight at double the normal voltage, and the TinyESC's worke...

FingerTech tinyESC w/ BEC5 Can't beat their size!

Dan - 22nd July 2009

These little.. er, tiny ESCs worked great in my antweight battlebot. To have two controllers running your two drive motors for under 8 grams once you shorten the wires, you can't beat it! And they're so small you can shove 'em wherever. The bright red LED...
