I won the USATL Antweight division and 4th at NERC with the same wheels

HSAV - 24th October 2012

5 stars

My antweight robot Hangar 11 has an 8-2 record. I won the USATL Antweight Divison in Florida and got 4th at the NERC Franklin Institute Cup with the same 2in Lite Flites with two stacked on either axel of my Spark motors. These wheels out-grip anything else and can absorb impacts as well as imperfections in the floor amazingly well, and they are still light: two 2in wheels with a circular home made wheel guard as well as the Lite Flite hubs total to 1oz. I have no complaints at all!

Awesome

These tire are a great choice for small robots. They are light and unlike hard plastic and rubber tires they help save your motors from impacts.

They're Lite Flites

Need I say anything else

Combat Zone columns

quoting May, June 2009 issues of Servo Magazine - 17th June 2009

In a survey of robot builders, Lite Flites were a unanimous choice for both the "Ultimate Antweight Robot" (no limit on budget), and the "Intro Antweight Robot" (competitive but value-based).
"Legendary for absorbing damage" - save your motors!
